Her Royal Highness Princess Alice – Countess of Athlone

The most important meeting of the year was the farewell to Her Royal Highness, Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone. In her farewell address to the Club, she said, “A challenge to women, not only of Canada but of all the world, to give of their utmost for the restoration of a sane and peaceful world and the creation of a new feeling of trust and confidence, first among ourselves and then in ever-widening circles.”
