Categories: , ,

Sorry, registration for this event is now closed. We hope to see you at our upcoming events.

Chantal and Jay were way ahead of the international crie de coeur about polluting plastic. Long before the images of plastic riding on the world’s oceans were seen, the Wakefield duo were coming to terms with the toxic effects of plastic that seems to be part of our daily lives. Chantal has civil and common law degrees from McGill and a master’s in law with a specialization in business ethics from the University of Ottawa. Jay has an honours degree in biochemistry from the University of Western Ontario, civil and common law degrees from McGill and a graduate diploma in ecotoxicology from Concordia University.

Besides advocating against plastic pollution, they have an online shop offering safe, high quality, ethically sourced alternatives to plastic products, and their website is an information resource on the issue. They have the academic credits in both law and science to advocate for Life Without Plastic and the passion to tell the story.
