The Ottawa Women's Canadian Club

The
OWCC

Our History

Founded in 1910, our club has a rich history demonstrating just how much a group of dedicated women can accomplish when they come together.

The OWCC has funded several university scholarship programs, supported war efforts in various ways, and invited numerous memorable speakers to raise awareness to a plethora of subjects about Canada and the world.

The OWCC Today

Today, the OWCC focuses on bringing Canadian women together to engage with guest speakers that represent all aspects of what it means to be Canadian. We’ve welcomed fashion designers, mayors, ambassadors, researchers, and authors… to name a few.

Luncheons

Once a month the OWCC gathers to listen to an invited speaker while dining at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club banquet hall. Both members and guests are welcome!

Tours

An opportunity to get to know each other better; the OWCC plans a variety of outings to different historic sites across the country. Join us on one of many exciting visits!

Scholarships

The OWCC takes pride in upholding the tradition of funding several university scholarships at 3 different universities. Moreover, 2 high school students are invited to each of our luncheons.
